For sodium sulphate, calcium chloride and blended chemicals, the liner is usually specified. Lamination stops external moisture, but it does not seal the filling opening — the liner closes the bag from the inside, where the product actually sits. For dry, non-hygroscopic chemicals on short delivery routes, a coated bag without a liner is often enough.
Urea and NPK pull moisture and cake, and caked fertilizer cannot be sold. A 50–80µm liner inside a laminated bag gives two separate barriers for humid storage or long sea freight. For domestic delivery in a dry season, many buyers take the laminated bag alone.
Cement, dry mortar and mineral powders are usually packed without a liner. The laminated or coated shell already handles dust and rain, and the woven core carries the load. A liner is added only when the product reacts strongly to humidity or when the bag has to sit outdoors for months.
Feed spoils from moisture and light; seed needs protection from both, plus a bag that will not leak treatment dust. A liner is common here, but the decision usually comes down to storage time and destination climate rather than the material itself.
The same bag can be supplied with or without an inner liner. The outer shell carries the weight and takes the handling abuse; the liner keeps moisture away from the product. We specify liner thickness and fixing method against your material and storage conditions, and quote the unlined version when a liner is not needed — you should not be paying for a barrier your product does not require.
